They bumped up their wedding day when they found he was being deployed in September. Three quick months of wedding planning later, she walked radiantly down the aisle to her soldier. Five days later, he shipped out to training. He returned for a three day visit about a month ago, and was then flown over to Iraq with his unit. That’s right-for the length of their marriage thus far, they’ve only been together for a week of it.
Michelle and I got to talking about Mike’s almost year-long deployment, his MOS, etc and came up with a pretty special surprise for him. We decided we would get together and take some pictures that we could load onto the laptop she was sending over to him. When he opened it, he would discover that his radiant bride had taken the time to give him a wonderful gift::bits of herself::her infectious smile, her joyful eyes, her life here waiting and praying for him. So this surprise laptop, loaded with love, is now in the mail, on its way to Iraq, to her heart, to her soldier.

Jenny! You just keep getting better and better!
Way to make me cry Jenny! Thank you so much for doing this for me. I cant wait for more surprises to send him. I am so grateful for your thoughtfulness during this time in both our lives. I sure hope Mike appreciates it too LOL.
